Faust: The Tower...
EX-4: Wondering about something? About how it's for rich people only?
Faust: No, I'm just a little afraid of it.
Faust: I get this ominous feeling, like there's a little more to it. Like there's some kind of factory, creating weapons of war.
EX-4: You're thinking about it too hard, it's just a massive shopping mall with it's own sort of ecosystem.
Faust: Well maybe I am, I never actually went to the Tower in quite a while. And even then, I was too young to remember.
Faust: Doesn't the Governor live up top? How does he even survive up there? He never seems to come down, ever.
EX-4: He has his ways of monitoring the entirety of the city. Well I think, I've actually never seen him since I was recruited into the EX-Squad.
Faust: So nobody knows?
EX-4: Well one person could know, EX-3. But he guards outside his office. Yeah. And also I don't really know of him yet, unfortunately.
Faust: Okay-- well aside from the Governor. I know there's different sectors of the Tower...
Faust: This is mostly for Strite, I don't want him going in blind.
EX-4: Asking for a document? Give me a moment.
Faust: I was only asking for an explanation, but I guess this works.
THE TOWER
EX-1's ACCOUNT, 2036
The Tower is what you make of it! And that was The Governor's entire purpose: to give people the freedom to create whatever they desire.
But what the people chose was a massive layered shopping mall. I never got to witness the construction itself, but let's just say: it was swift!
Now what were these shopping districts? Ah, yes!
THE ECONOMY CLASS
It looks like your average mall, many lines of stores stacked in multiple layers in an arch. Not much a half circle, though.
The First Floor is the ultimate hang out space: Cafes and small entertainment zones are a plenty,
and many stairs on the side lead to furnished piers where people could relax!
Other than some morning hang outzone, there needs to be some kind of entertainment, or stocks, or a food court, or--
They're all in their own seperate location to either the right or left sides of the first floor.
I personally don't visit them oftem, I usually hole myself up above in the First Class.
Oh, yes, on the topic of First Class.
FIRST CLASS
Ah, First Class, where I can finally spill my heart out!
This place is one massive cylindrical mall in constant moody warm lighting.
One of the most beautiful places here in the Tower compared the painfully bright lit Economy Class!
The main attractions here are the Restaurant platform in the very bottom and the concert platform near the middle of the sector.
The latter is a congregation of many luxury (and surprisingly affordable) diners that are a must if anyone wants to tour here.
And the former, is a little devisive. A loud concert hall inside a closed space?
Never fret, it has the greatest noise concealing tech integrated inside the platform which masks any sound that tries to escape.
Other than that, I mostly avoid it since the only thing they perform are either traditional orchestras or pop songs. Yeah, kinda boring.
Anyways, final thoughts? Visit the First Class! Do it, you won't regret it.
BUSINESS SECTOR
I believe EX-2 has his office set up there, yes?
I have no idea what's going on up there anymore, I hear screams and gunfire everytime I'm near the top of the First Class.
Has a war broken out up there?
Ask EX-2 about this...
|
Faust: 2036, isn't this a little inaccurate? Things could've changed...
EX-4: Well, it never changed, something about human nature.
EX-4: Actually, no, it's just because life's so good in there.
Faust: Doesn't explain what's going on in the business sector! A war? Why is there a war going on in there?
EX-4: Huh? Business Sector? Oh we don't call it that anymore.
Faust: What?
EX-4: It's infested by a guild of deulists, people that congregate for the sake of battling.
EX-4: We call it the Deuling Sector now.
Faust: So, what... do people settle their differences by killing each other?
EX-4: Essentially, yes. The Business Class had basically zero use when it was contructed, so people obviously desided to twist its purpose.
Faust: But why would they choose a place where EX-2 is? Wouldn't that cause, him to put a stop to this?
EX-4: Well, EX-2 tried, but the main members are very formidable.
EX-4: All of them are a little below or equal to EX-2's strength.
EX-4: But he doesn't want to be bothered by painfully loud gunshots, so he decided to make a compromise with them:
EX-2: Stay in the upper floors, or I will personally bring the entire CS-2 to your doorstep.
EX-4: To stay in the upper floors or--HEY WAIT A MINUTE.
EX-4: EX-2! What are you doing here?! I thought you were analyzing something!
EX-2: I'm done. Didn't take too long honestly.
Faust: Well that's something.
EX-2: Yes, it's true: The Business Class did fall to becoming a battlefield.
EX-2: But really, I'm still questioning who in the world designed that place!
EX-2: It's just multiple massive corridors with glass paned offices, it's practically the perfect dueling ground.
Faust: Well since Strite's going through it, I'm wondering how he will survive...
EX-2: I'm still figuring that part out, you know. I also don't want him dying.
Faust: Maybe you could help him, just for that purpose.
EX-2: That's my thought as well, but each of the members of that guild has gotten more and more powerful.
EX-2: All of them match my capabilities, and having Strite with me isn't going to cut it.
Faust: How about getting your Corporate Squadron? Isn't that your ultimatum?
EX-2: My district has been infested with this criminal strongholds, I can't just leave my district open to them.
EX-2: Some things don't change in the Tower, but the city? It's constantly morphing, and this is just how it's going to be.
Faust: Then who...
EX-4: My districts also on the verge of catching on fire as well, I can't help.
EX-4: And EX-1 is, well, you know.
EX-2: We'll talk about all this later, I need some time to think.
EX-4: Got it. Faust, I hope you got at least something out of this. Although we haven't come to a concrete conclusion just yet.
Faust: It's alright. I'll try to get into contract with Strite about what I learned... if I can.
